Book Blitz Jr.
A district-wide reading challenge for 4th and 5th graders
Book Blitz teams participate in monthly book club meetings, followed by a district-wide Jeopardy-style competition in April. Students must read at least 6 books from the district-chosen book list prior to the end of March to be eligible to participate. Please email Brooke Zimmerman for additional information

Reflections
A program that encourages involvement in the arts for all children.
Annually, thousands of students reflect on a common theme and create original works of art in the categories of Dance, Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, 2D Visual Arts and 3D Visual Arts. 2024-25 Theme is "Accepting Imperfection." Awards are given in 2 divisions: Kindergarten - 2nd grade, and 3rd - 5th grade.

Wildcat Chorus
Before-school choir for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students
The Wildcat Chorus is back! Practices are held on select Wednesday mornings at 7:55am in the cafetorium. Choir is a fun place to learn new songs and make new friends. Performances will be held 2 times per year (Friday Oct 25 and TBD)
Chess
Enjoy Friday mornings with friends learning Chess!
Come have fun as you learn the exciting and challenging game of chess! Students can achieve 6 rank advancements as new skills are mastered. Chess meetings are Friday mornings at 8am in the Cafeteria and runs from October 11th through April 4th. Chess is free, and Parents, Grandparents, & friends are invited.
Ribbon Week
Fun challenges that encourage families to discuss important topics.
Ribbon Week is designed to give you and your kids skills that will improve mental health, discourage substance abuse and help them stay safe online. Links will be posted below for more information about this year's challenges, prizes, and activities.
Watch D.O.G.S.
"Dads of Great Students" for Fathers and Male Role Models at Willow Springs
1. Register to be a Canyons School District Volunteer (must be done annually)
2. Sign up for a day to volunteer here.
3. Before you come in to the school, learn what to expect and best times to volunteer here.
3. On your day of volunteering, sign in at the front office & let them know you're with Watch D.O.G.S.!
Jog - a - Thon
Willow Springs' PTA's Annual Fundraiser
Students are invited to find sponsors that will donate to their fun run! Donations are collected as a lump sum online through our fuss-free fundraising site. To reach our fundraising goal, we are asking a $35 donation per child, but any amount really helps.
Parents, siblings, and spectators are invited to cheer on their student along the running route and at aid stations! Please visit the link below for details on what to expect this year!
